Tally of PhD students at TekNat, by department

We are almost 800 PhD students at the faculty of science and technology at Uppsala university.
Perhaps you already knew that.

But you may not have known that the smallest department (with respect to PhD students) is the dept of photochemistry and molecular science. (Actually, the space physics institute is even smaller with just two grad students, but it is hard to consider it a department proper...) So show the photomol graduates some love next time you bump into them!

Here comes the whole list (all departments at TekNat with number of currently enrolled PhD students):

And here comes the disclaimer: we have only taken "doktorander" into account, as stated in the university directory. That means that all numbers are lower than the actual number of PhD students, since most PhD students only become "doktorand" their second year (at least in the eyes of the directory pages). So, there you have it. Is your department as big and mighty as you thought?
